Ayahuasca is a powerful healing tool to learn the truth and we want to help you find it.

New Life Ayahuasca offers 5 and 7 day ayahuasca retreats in beautiful Costa Rica. Our mission is to provide compassionate retreat options to those who are seeking to restore balance to their lives through spiritual and personal healing. Our retreat includes 2 or 3 ayahuasca ceremonies, private rooms, yoga, a massage and a waterfall excursion.

Our retreats are intimate and limited in space to 9 to be sure we can provide individualized attention and support during such a personal and profound experience.

Ayahuasca is an intensely personal experience. We believe it is important to have a private space that you can retreat to and process on your own.

Our beautiful center offers 8 full private rooms with queen size beds, each with its own full private bathroom.

Enjoy our common areas for when you are feeling social or find your peaceful solitude when you need it. The choice is yours.

We never compromise your privacy.

In an era where the word 'shaman' gets overused, authenticity and true intention are hard to find. At New Life Ayahuasca, you're in good hands.  Since 2014 Matthew has been traveling to Iquitos, Peru to learn the Peruvian traditions and completing plant dietas. Our intimate ceremonies are performed with respect to the traditions that have surrounded the use of the sacred medicine ayahuasca for centuries. Matthew is our resident ayahuasquero. While he would never refer to himself as a shaman, Matthew’s intentions and passion in his work are unparalleled. There is no question of his integrity or his sincerity in his mission to help others. His presence during each ceremony is strong and grounding. Matthew sings Icaros, plays the gong, guitar and drum to help guide the participants’ experience. He is supported by his wife, Jeanae, who plays the flute and acts as sitter for the experience.

All our retreats include Hatha yoga sesions led by our resident yoga instructor Jeanae White. Yoga has a multitude of benefits, not only physically but mentally as well. Yoga sessions are held on the morning of each ceremony day to help prepare the participant for the journey in the evening. Hatha yoga classes are 45 minutes followed by 15 minutes of guided relaxation with a focus on intention.

After an ayahuasca experience, there is a lot to process. Massage offers an excellent opportunity to reflect in a non-verbal, tranquil and relaxing environment. Massage therapy not only reduces stress but increases positive feelings and helps people tap into the intelligence of their body and become more self-aware. One complimentary massage is included in every retreat.

Another great way to process the ayahuasca experience is to get into nature! Our 20 acre proprety has various hiking trails with a variety of flora and fauna. It's not uncommon to see monkeys, deer, or blue morpho butterflies! Our trip to a local 150-foot waterfall with even more hiking trails offers endless ways to commune with nature while processing the ayahuasca experience in the Costa Rican sun and landscape.
