Our mission is to provide compassionate retreat options to those who are seeking to restore balance to their lives through spiritual and personal healing. Ayahuasca shows us the truth, unveiling the light and the darkness that exists in each and every one of us.
Space is limited to 9 participants in every retreat to ensure we can provide individualized attention and support during such a personal and profound experience.
We hope you will join us.
ENJOY YOUR SPACE
The ayahuasca experience can bring up intense emotions and revelations. This often includes releasing traumas, and confronting issues from the past.
We believe it is important to have a private space that you can retreat to and process on your own.
Our charming facility offers 8 private rooms with queen size beds, each with its own private bathroom.
Enjoy our common areas for when you are feeling social or find your peaceful solitude when you need it. The choice is yours.
We never compromise your privacy.
Matthew has been working with ayahuasca since 2014 and is our resident ayahuasquero. He guides each participant through the experience with Icaros which are medicine songs either passed down from teacher to student or gifted by ayahuasca. His presence during each ceremony is strong and grounding. He has a strong connection to music and incorporates the use of multiple instruments into his ceremonies. Matthew is supported by his wife, Jeanae, who plays the flute. Our intimate ceremonies are offered in darkness, promoting an inward journey to heal the soul.
Matthew has facilitated hundreds of ceremonies and leads with compassion, love, and a deep connection to spirit.
Matthew’s training takes him to Iquitos, Peru multiple times a year to complete master plant dietas and learn the Peruvian ceremonial traditions under the guidance of his teacher, Don Ron Wheelock. Matthew’s intentions and passion in his work are unparalleled. There is no question of his integrity or his sincerity in his mission to help others.
All our retreats include Hatha yoga sesions led by our resident yoga instructor Jeanae White. Yoga has a multitude of benefits, not only physically but mentally as well. Yoga sessions are held on the morning of each ceremony day to help prepare the participant for the journey in the evening. Hatha yoga classes are 45 minutes followed by 15 minutes of guided relaxation with a focus on intention.
After an ayahuasca experience, there is a lot to process. Massage offers an excellent opportunity to reflect in a non-verbal, tranquil and relaxing environment. Massage therapy not only reduces stress but increases positive feelings and helps people tap into the intelligence of their body and become more self-aware. One complimentary massage is included in every retreat.
Another great way to process the ayahuasca experience is to get into nature! Our 20 acre proprety has various hiking trails with a variety of flora and fauna. It's not uncommon to see monkeys, deer, or blue morpho butterflies! Our trip to a local 150-foot waterfall with even more hiking trails offers endless ways to commune with nature while processing the ayahuasca experience in the Costa Rican sun and landscape.
