Over the years we’ve curated a quality ayahuasca retreat that encompasses a balance of complimentary healing modalities, time for reflection and community support. Using feedback from our clients, we’ve tailored our therapeutic program to best support your journey without overshadowing the ayahuasca experience with the use of other alternative medicines or treatments.
Our tropical facility invites you to disengage from the fast pace of the world and truly retreat into nature. There ceremonies are led by a traditionally trained ayahuasquero who expertly guides each ceremony with a potent ayahuasca brew. We ensure that we create a safe container for the experience, not just physically by completing a thorough medical screening of each participant, but by securing the energetic space of the experience.
Still, the truth is, our retreat might not be the one that resonates the most with you, and that’s okay! There are many wonderful retreats available for different personalities, budgets and locations. You have to trust your intuition and let it guide you where you are meant to be.

FACILITY
Our center is designed to invite you to truly retreat. We offer 7 private ocean-view studio bungalows, and 4 luxury ocean-view container units. All rooms have a private bathroom and a private balcony.
Our common areas offer plenty of places to lounge or socialize but the facility and property are expansive enough that it is easy to find spaces to be alone for quiet reflection. Take a dip in the beautiful infinity pool, lounge in a hammock, walk to the beach or gather around the nightly fire. We have put care into every detail and we are sure you will feel at home.
AYAHUASQUERO
What is a shaman?
Our ayahuasquero, Matthew, is completely dedicated to his craft. He has been training in Peru since 2015 with his teacher, world-renown shaman Don Ron Wheelock and completing his plant medicine dietas in the heart of the Amazon.
Matthew has made a lifelong commitment to working with ayahuasca and his connection to the medicine is clear.
Our ceremonies are performed with respect to the Peruvian traditions and are offered in darkness. Participants sit in silence while the experience is guided through music and song. Matt sings Icaros, plays the guitar, drum, gong and a number of other instruments to assist in the journey,
AYAHUASCA BREW
The brew is the heart of the ayahuasca retreat. You build everything around the medicine, hoping to enhance the experience of the participants. It is often assumed that you will receive a high quality and potent brew at any retreat, unfortunately, this is not the case. Not all medicine is created equal.
Our medicine is made in Iquito, Peru. The plants are selected at precise level of maturity to contribute to the potency of the medicine. Our medicine is made with only ayahuasca (Banisteriopsis caapi) and Huambisa / Chaliponga (Diplopterys cabrerana). No additives or fillers are used in any way. Each plant used contributes to ayahuasca and if any ingredient were missing, the medicine would lack in its effects.
MEALS
Nutrition and quality meals are an important aspect of overall holistic health. We source all our ingredients from the local farms market, not only contributing to our community but also allowing us to provide always fresh fruits and produce to our guests. Jeanae, our cook, has crafted a vegan menu for our retreats that incorporates all colors of the rainbow. The meals are kept simple, using whole quality foods. From homemade hummus to hearty salads and variations of the traditional beans and rice, our meals give a little of everything.

SAFETY
To ensure the safety of all our guests, we require each potential participant complete a medical screening over the phone with Matt. The medical screening will give us an idea of your overall health and will help us determine if you are a safe candidate for ayahuasca therapy. It also gives Matt, our ayahuasquero, a chance to speak with each participant personally, to develop a relationship and answer any questions you may have.
In addition to conducting a thorough medical screening, Matt and Jeanae are both trained in CPR. New Life Ayahuasca is equipped with an AED machine, which our staff is trained to use.
