Whether you are planning to host a yoga retreat, meditation retreat, work event or family gathering, our center has everything you need.
We are conveniently located about an hour from SJO airport and with proximity to other popular tourist destinations. Our 20-acre mountain villa just outside of San Ramon offers 8 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, yoga studio, pool, hot tub and massage room.
During dry season enjoy the most magnificent sunsets over the Nicoya Gulf from our back patio and during green season watch the clouds roll over the mountains until they envelope you in a cool mist. The crisp mountain air makes for the ideal climate to host your retreat. Average temperatures range from 65 at night up to 80 during the day so it’s never too hot or too cold. Enjoy a dip in our huge lap pool, explore the hiking trails, meditate in our open clearings with ocean views or soak in the hot tub as the night settles in.
Costa Rica is on the rise in popularity for all types of tourism and retreats, which in turn is driving up the prices of retreat venues making it difficult to find a reasonable center that still offers quality and comfort without an outrageous price tag. TheRETREAT
COMMON AREAS
Our center has one large primary common area. The west facing wall is almost entirely glass letting in lots of natural light and beautiful colors at sunset. This common area opens up to our pack patio with views of the Nicoya Golf. We have an outdoor firepit perfect for late night socializing or warming up in the cool mountain breeze or star gazing. Common areas feature an entertainment system, 3 couches and 2 tables and bookshelf.
POOL / HOT TUB
One of the most astonishing aspects of our center is our prized 150 ft (half Olympic) sized pool! It is indoor, so it is functional at all times of the year through both the green and dry seasons. Perfect for swimming laps or setting up a net for pool volleyball tournaments. Next to the pool is our hot tub (a very rare find in Costa Rica!) – while it is not temperature regulated (it takes about 90 minutes to get fully hot), it is still perfectly functional and set to a timer at 30 minute intervals.
YOGA/MASSAGE
We have a beautiful yoga studio/ meditation space which comfortably fits 10+ people. Our resident yoga instructor may be hired for classes or you may teach your own classes in the comfortable space which has windows along one side letting it fill with natural light. Connected to the yoga studio is a massage room. The massage room is shaded and stays cool with a window to let in a soft breeze and the sounds of the birds outside. A massage therapist is available to come on site for an additional fee.
TheRooms
Our beautiful center offers 8 large bedrooms, each with a single queen bed and private attached full bathroom. Beds are fitted with high quality sheets, 4 pillows to each bed and soft comforters. Thick towels, wash cloths, soap, shampoo and conditioner are all provided. Every room has also has Wifi, a fan, electric candles and incense for ambiance.

Trying to host a retreat in Costa Rica can quickly become very confusing and expensive! You may get quotes from different centers that have so many variables and options. Most centers calculate the price of hosting a retreat in Costa Rica by considering a number a factors.
A common equation is : number of guests in ‘group’ x private or shared room accommodations x number of days
For example, a center may say that an entire center to be privately rented by a ‘group’. However ‘group’ is loosely define and each center may have a different definition of what a ‘group’ size is – some may say 6 or more qualifies, some say 8, some 10, some 12 and so on and so forth, so if you don’t meet the minimum requirement of a ‘group’ and still want to have the entire center privately rented, you will have to pay for the minimum requirement regardless of the retreat size.
Then you factor accommodation prices. Most retreat rentals offer shared rooms (1-4 guests) and if you want a private room, you need to pay premium prices.
From there it can get even more confusing. Depending on the retreat you are looking to host, so offer different prices to include meals, cleaning, yoga classes, airport transfers, excursions, etc.
