The price of an ayahuasca retreat for 7 days with 3 ceremonies can range anywhere from just a few hundred dollars up to around $7000!

 

Why is there such a big price difference? There a few things to consider:

• LOCATION

• ACCOMMODATION

• AMENITIES

• ADDITIONAL THERAPIES

• REPUTATION

• SHAMAN

 You might also notice that overall, the price for an ayahuasca retreat in Costa Rica is more expensive than similar retreats that are offered in Peru or even Ecuador or Mexico. This is because Costa Rica has a much higher cost of living and retreat centers must consider when determining their price. Many camps in Peru are completely off the grid and have no electricity or internet services.

Also, a lot of places with lower prices take more participants to offset their costs and you may end up in a ceremony with 50 - 100 people!

Accommodations play a big role in price as well. As I mentioned before, if a center is taking a large number of participants, it's likely most accommodations will be shared. If you want a private room or a retreat with an intimate group of 20 or less, you'll have to pay more.

 

For example, you may find a retreat in the $1000 range but chances are it's shared accommodations or camping, shared bathrooms, and a very rustic location with a high participant-to-facilitator ratio.

Even in the $2000 price range, you will often be looking at shared accommodations for a week-long retreat, although the number of participants to facilitators is usually lower.

​

When you get into prices at $5000 and above, it's usually considered a 'luxury' retreat and accommodations so you pay a premium.

We offer private rooms, private or shared bathrooms, and our retreats will never exceed 16 participants.
